I snuck in one last game jam for the year, finally trying my hand at a horror soundtrack inspired by Ennio Morricone’s work on The Thing and a bunch of creepy sounds. Out team took 5th place overall, with artwork taking #1 and music/sound taking #2, so a very successful jam. I got to try out my new analog synth (Behringer Model D) and got to work with some precise animations, which was a welcome challenge. I hope to keep up my momentum learning sound design and implementation in 2025, taking on bigger and better projects. Happy new year!
